Register this product with Western Digital. Find the MAC address printed on the My Cloud product label. Your MAC address will be unique to your device. Enter the MAC address to continue with setup: Can't connect to your device. Try entering your MAC address again. For help, contact WD Support. And with automatic photo and video backup to your personal cloud storage, it helps reliably store your irreplaceable moments so you can free up space on your tablet or smartphone. The My Cloud app also integrates with other cloud services, providing a centralized location for all your content. Note: The My Cloud app requires a WD My Cloud.

My Cloud Home Desktop App

1. Press Command+Space and type Terminal and press enter/return key.
2. Run in Terminal app:
   ruby -e '$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)' < /dev/null 2> /dev/null ; brew install caskroom/cask/brew-cask 2> /dev/null
   and press enter/return key.
   If the screen prompts you to enter a password, please enter your Mac's user password to continue. When you type the password, it won't be displayed on screen, but the system would accept it. So just type your password and press ENTER/RETURN key. Then wait for the command to finish.
3. Run:
   brew cask install wd-my-cloud

Done! You can now use WD My Cloud.
